As usual, Bob, thanks for the race coverage. *Let me add the necessary
footnote to the last stage of the Giro.

Video of Menchov going down, getting back on and having one huge rush
of adrenalin after he finished.

Wow, Menchov was up and going after his bike before the bike stopped
sliding, and what a great bike change. I like to tease my soccer
fanatic Norwegian relatives about what pussies soccer players are
compared with cyclists, because the soccer players go into such
histrionics when they get fouled. They lay on the field acting like
they are in agony, where cyclists jump right up and get back on their
bikes, blood dripping off their torn clothes.

As usual, Bob, thanks for the race coverage. *Let me add the necessary
footnote to the last stage of the Giro.

Video of Menchov going down, getting back on and having one huge rush
of adrenalin after he finished.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47q_p6ts9gc

Wow, Menchov was up and going after his bike before the bike stopped
sliding, and what a great bike change. *I like to tease my soccer
fanatic Norwegian relatives about what pussies soccer players are
compared with cyclists, because the soccer players go into such
histrionics when they get fouled. *They lay on the field acting like
they are in agony, where cyclists jump right up and get back on their
bikes, blood dripping off their torn clothes.

If their were time penalties for fouling a cyclist, half the peloton
would be rolling around on the ground holding their knees.

When Menchov bounced up I was wondering if it crossed his mind to pick
up the bike and run with it.

How do soccer players rank compared to NASCAR drivers?

Ah, you know the answer to that. I actually deleted a paragraph about
what pansies NASCAR drivers are, afraid to race in the rain because
they might crash. But I thought I'd just rile up the soccer fans this
time.

Yeah, that is the explanation for why the soccer players are such
drama queens, but STILL... enough already with the feigned agony. I
think the refs ought to pull out a revolver and put them out of their
misery.

As usual, Bob, thanks for the race coverage. Let me add the necessary
footnote to the last stage of the Giro.

Video of Menchov going down, getting back on and having one huge rush
of adrenalin after he finished.

That mechanic earned his pay today. That had to be the best bike switch
I've ever seen.

It was pretty amazing how he and the bike kept sliding.

You know how he raised his arms and yelled after the stage? Some people
think that's proof of doping with testosterone.
