Mine has a third wheel.

I hope you've grown a beard!

yes, but it disappears once a fortnight, leaving me with incorrect
recumbent Feng Shui

(After this morning's brisk air temperature, I've decided it's time
for my own Winter Beard).

Yeah it's getting bleeding cold - I already have a beard but my nose is
still icy. Time for the japanese face-tube thingy I bought last year
methinks, they know all about cold weather cycling in Tokyo

OK. They were very sticky for the first 10km, picking up little bits
of gravel and flinging them off against the downtube making a steady
plink-plink-plink noise. ;-)

As expected they roll *much* more easily than the 60psi 26x1.5" tyres
they're replacing. Obviously I've still got some drag from the dynamo
hub on the front, but I'm able to run 1 gear higher than before along
most of the commute. The ride is a bit more harsh than before, but
the cheap suspension forks and sprung seat keep the ride comfortable.

The verdict: good so far, but we'll have to wait and see how long
they last!

I got the same tyres about 200km ago and they've still got all of their
little moulding tab thingies on the sides. I think I need to corner at
more extreme angles

I considered switching to the sandals this morning, my winter socks
don't fit in the shoes! Not quite cold enough yet.

Hmm are you sure the shoes don't provide more protection than thicker socks?

Ground Effect Lucifers vs aerated shoes, both with my regular socks.
