Cruiser saddles, dual type spring better?
Anybody have actual experience with the difference between saddles with
dual type springs and simple springs? By "dual type" I mean spring assemblies that include both a compressed and an extended spring in one. Thanks. |

You may find this helpful: http://bicyclinglife.com/PracticalCycling/Sore.htm "You can stand while coasting down any little hill" Yeah... That and then pedaling while sitting down might sound counterintuitive, but it does work. I understand it's a matter of conditioning and buying a better seat. I spent almost one year adjusting/adapting to inline street skating. |

Cruiser saddles, dual type spring better?
Per Frank Krygowski:
You may find this helpful: http://bicyclinglife.com/PracticalCycling/Sore.htm I would add to the "Tilt Up" section that a micro-adjustable seatpost is pretty much a necessity. A quarter-inch diff in the height of the saddle horn is *huge*.... much smaller adjustments make beeeeeg diffs... -- Pete Cresswell |

The idea that only a recombinant should have a comfortable seat sounds
silly. It's for a racing bike. The seat is so uncomfortable, I race from here to there... Phil W Lee wrote: John Doe write: I am so looking forward to getting a comfortable saddle... Why, are you thinking of buying a recumbent? |
