Default Energy Conservation Question

Is energy conserved if you're a professional bike racer riding a bike on a
velodrome while it's raining with no slip pedals?

Under those conditions you need to be very careful as you
will continue accelerating until you reach 99.9% of the
speed of light. You will then have almost infinite mass
(probably only slightly more than a typical fatty master).
As a corollary you will also break the hour record.

Only in the turns. Or is it only on the straights?

Pedal synchronization will get you the other 0.1%

Because of non-simultaneity the thousands of onlookers will see the
record broken by a Slipstream rider, also over-weight.

Only if coached by a Gorilla.
