How to get a SUPER strong 'bunny' 12' unicycle. Tutorial not question
There has recently been alot of whispering about these midgets. Its now possible. Not only in 12, but also 14 and 10 inch rims. Using these parts, a new form of trials can open. Just look how wide those rims are! This scooter store has great tires/tubes: http://www.scooterpart.net/products.php?id=820 http://www.scooterpart.net/products.php?id=821 http://www.scooterpart.net/products.php?id=1639 Good rims: http://www.scooterpart.net/products.php?id=1509 http://pitposse.stores.yahoo.net/12inchrear.html http://www.scooterpart.net/products.php?id=1051 Reccomended parts: Nimbus 16 inch frame - allows for extra volume (ask UDC, frame not listed seperate) Nimbus ISIS hub/or square taper Nimbus gel saddle Cromo post with Quax 100mm or kh 110 you could even go isis! A new form? Wouldn't it just be trials on a smaller unicycle? -- wickedbob R.I.P MITCH HEDBERG 'Add wickedbob to your ignore list' (http://tinyurl.com/3dfrko). Ducttape wrote: haha! wickedbob;1154133 wrote: A new form? Wouldn't it just be trials on a smaller unicycle? Yeah, but It wouldn't be the same. It would be based soley on hopping and skinnys. Rolling would be way to slow. I also just counted the spoke holes, and a few hub spaces will go unused. -- Jeremy R '661' (http://www.sixsixone.com/) 'MountainUni' (http://www.mountainuni.com/splash.asp) spam ban kaboom - Gilby ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jeremy R's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/18006 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/74972 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |

You would need a new frame. I'm pretty sure a 3 inch wide tire will not fit in a nimbus 16" frame, and I would personally want it to be a true 12" Maybe a chopshop Nimbus II frame? I'd be up for building one if I had some extra cash If you're lazy just buy it from those guys that already have the fames made and the wheels built with components that are actually compatible. -- nimblelight 'Front page unicycle article' (http://www.unicyclist.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=72686). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ nimblelight's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/17248 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/74972 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |

I think I'd have to wait for someone to try this, then put it through its paces to see if it would actually be somewhat practical for a 12" trials. -- Ergolicious aka Ergo ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ergolicious's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/17939 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/74972 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |

Gonna need a long seatpost, and at 12" or below, it would be easier to just use a pogostick. -- Jerrick '*Bought it!*' (http://tinyurl.com/6ywusa) *Press Alt+F4 to fix post stretch.*[SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC]JC~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jerrick's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/11632 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/74972 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |

If its stock, that just makes it easier to buy and use it. That one big drop he does on it seems like it would of killed a cotterless wheelset, so he might have isis with short cranks. Youd have to ask him what it is. I know MDC was selling smaller splined setups, but I dont know if that option is still up. -- Jerrick '*Bought it!*' (http://tinyurl.com/6ywusa) *Press Alt+F4 to fix post stretch.*[SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC][SIGPIC]JC~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jerrick's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/11632 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/74972 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |
