Obviously a rant by a motorist who ignores the much more serious harm
done by his fellow motorists. Maybe there is a bit of jealousy there
too because of the heavy costs of motoring compared to cycling and the
fact that he is not fit enough anyway to cycle up hills.

the fact is that there are lots of people that are getting seriously fed up
with the poor behaviour of cyclists. the one mentioned in the article hurt
someone and rode away laughing. Do you condone their action? was it for the
greater good of the planet? or was it just some **** that knew he was
untraceable and so did not care?

Or was it all made up? I see a lot of these and they lump a whole
catalogue in to their rant with a cyclist hitting someone and riding off
swearing or laughing somewhere in there. If it was just a story of
someone being hit by a cyclist then it might be more believable but with
all the other baggage piled in, the whole thing is so formulaic it just
sounds like a rant of dubious veracity to me.

Should be interesting to see if anyone here condemns the cyclist.

No, there is a tiny group of embittered and envious people with too much
time on their hands.

That must be right because no cyclist would ever ride along the footway, hit
and injure a pedestrian and ride away without accepting rensposibility, would
they?

The very idea...
