SCU Quad County Metric Sun May 1, 2005 on-line registration and brochure
On-line registration is now available for the Quad County Metric at

Sunday, May 1, 2005: SCU Quad County Metric, Green Lane Park, Deep Creek and Snyder Roads, Green Lane, PA 18054. Ride 10, 21, 31, 45, 53, 68, or 76 miles on scenic back roads. The 21-mile route avoids the longest climb and is suitable for casual riders. The 53 and 76-mile routes include the "Intensive Climbing Unit" extra hilly segment. The 10-mile route is a flat ride on the unpaved Perkiomen Trail. Pre-registration by 4/9 includes T-shirt: $15 (SCU members), $20 (non-members). Registration after April 9: $25, shirt not included. Registration includes marked route, cue sheet, SAG support, and a post-ride meal. Rest stops have a large assortment of home-baked snacks. Suburban Cyclists Unlimited, P.O. Box 401, Horsham, PA 19044. Green Lane Park consists of over 3,100 acres with three bodies of water totaling 870 acres. The park has 50 overnight campsites; call 215-234-4528 to make a campsite reservation. Rental boats, marked hiking trails, and tennis courts are also available within the park.
