Default STOLEN: Marin Factory Downhill Frame

A RARE bicycle has been stolen in a Nuneaton burglary.

Worth around £2,500, the stolen mountain bike is thought to be one of
just five in the UK.

It was taken along with golf clubs, tools and electrical items, from a
home in Malham Close, Nuneaton in the early hours of Sunday.

The bike is described as a Marin Factory Downhill Frame with full
suspension with front forks. Protective gear was also stolen worth in
the region of £295.

The thieves broke into the home's garage and used a decorator's sheet to
drag the stolen items with them to Grassington Drive, where they
abandoned the sheet and made their way to Ingleton Close where the alley
leads to Crowhill Road.

The burglars also stole made to measure golf clubs consisting of a
driver, 3, 5, 7, woods with tan and grey shafts, worth around £800.

A number of tools and electric items were stolen including a Bosch 18
volt drill, Dewalt 12 volt , Dewalt router, Dewalt mitre saw, and Rotary
Stop Drill, KT Kewtech and Fluke Multi Tester.

Anyone with information on the burglary, which happened between 1.30am
and 6.45am on Sunday, are urged to contact PC Chris Bell at Nuneaton
station on 024 7664 1111 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
