Huffy Joins the Commute Bike Revolution
Chainguard, fenders, and rack are standard on the $200 Magellan.
"http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9207802" I saw it at Sears ($250) and it wasn't as bad as you'd expect a Huffy to be. It's not nearly as heavy as the shipping weight indicates. I think it was well under 30 pounds. |

Gone is the one piece crank. They have an adjustable height/reach stem, something that's rare to find even on higher end bicycles these days. They have a real chain guard around the triple crank set, something that's extremely rare. Full fenders, and a rear rack. |

You missed the Schwinn Excursion with a SA3 for $25 mo http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=8399249 And for $125 in chump change you can get a Mongoose "Paver" to run around the neighborhood. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=8399245 There's one used daily in my neighborhood. If I was in NYC or SF locking on the street, beats wasting time scrounging. Decent looking bike, if not flashy. I thought it was some sort of low end ;$400 hipster thing. |
