Dura Ace 7900 calipers on other brake levers
I know Shimano says the new 7900 calipers can only be used with the
new 7900 or 6700 STI levers. But has anyone used the 7900 calipers on Campagnolo Ergo levers? If so how did they feel, perform, etc. |

I read somewhere that Shimano didn't recommend using anything but the 7900 levers to pull them, but said that the 7900 levers would pull other brakes OK. However, I bet in practice that you probably just need to set your pads pretty close to your rims if using Centaur levers so you don't run out of lever. Seems to be a futile way to spend and mix unless you have a team sponsor. |
