Default getting trike into canada?

I'm just starting to explore the possibility of a trip from the
Indianapolis area up to Sutton, Ontario, Canada next summer.

My equipment will be a Penninger Voyager Trike. Just started thinking
about it this evening and have already come up with a travel problem.
That is getting from the Detroit side of the river over to the Windsor
side. There appears to be no roads where human powered bikes or
trikes are permitted.

I was wondering if anyone has made the crossing to Canada from the
Detroit area with a bicycle and knows how I can accomplish this.

Thank you

Tom, what are you riding now days. Several years ago I used to lurk on
this newsgroup and you were a member of the house of RANS.

My first recumbent and still getting some use is a Tailwind.

Is there a sidewalk you could walk across the river?
OR, how about hailing a cab and dangling the trike out the trunk? OR
bring your own trike rack to mount on the cab.
OR, how about renting a car and crossing with the trike in the rental?
