Repair Stands
I'm looking to buy a repair stand for my mountain bike and are looking
at the following three models. - Ultimate Pro Repair Stand, BRS-80RT - Pedro's Bicycle Repair Stand - Park Tool PCS-15 Anyone out there that has used any of these and what is your satisfaction level? Thanks. Emily |

The legs spread a good bit out, though, so moving about near the stand can be problematic. If you buy it, wait for for a deal. || - Pedro's Bicycle Repair Stand || - Park Tool PCS-15 || || Anyone out there that has used any of these and what is your || satisfaction level? || || Thanks. || || Emily |

When I need to tinker with my bike, I hang it on the rack on the trunk of my car. I realize that's not "kewl" but it works for me. That's where I often do my wheel truing and brake adjusting (in nice weather, anyway). Other times I just hang the bike saddle from a rope dropped from a ceiling hook in the garage. That's a lot faster to set up and takes up less space than any stand. Another great alternative is a trainer. I have yet to see a repair stand that allows you to mount & ride the bike while working on it. This can be very handy when chasing down creaks or drivetrain problems. |
