Stevey boy, you are yet to tell us anything about the truth telling of
the Republican leaders. What about those non-existent WMD's? What about
those non-existent links to al Qaeda? Doesn't that make GWB a war
criminal for the killing of ~20,000 Iraqis on completely BS reasons?

Turn it around. Prior to March 2003, wouldn't Saddam have been within
his rights to invade USA as it was a threat to his nation? How would you
feel if he did and killed 20,000 and tortured numerous others? Right,
now are you surprised that the rest of the world thinks so little of the
American leadership?

Mais quelle femme!

Which one - the original or new and improved version?

"The first week of the Tour is going to be very hectic, therefore,

the
risk is
too great that Cadel might crash and be forced out of the Tour

through
injury,"
Godefroot explained.

We'll keep him out of the Tour, especially where Jan desperately

needs
helpers
of his type, because he might crash. They are worried about his

performing
in
what races after this?

It is especially strange about Cadel when you consider that Vinokorov

is
essentially the same sort of rider as Cadel. I wonder what the real

story
is
here? Do you suppose that Cadel was questioning why Ullrich was being

made
complete team leader while Zabel or perhaps he weren't being given the
proper support?

This **** could've come from Michael Moore.

I turned on the news and it was a movie review. They showed a clip of
President Bush saying something and while his lips were moving saying

one
thing the sound was some other quote. Then the reviewer said something

to
the effect - "See, the administratoin cuts its own throat." I suppose

that
anyone in the TV business feels compelled to worship Michael Moore

because
the French gave him kudos in Cannes.

The French didn't give him kudos, but an international jury presided by

an
American with two other Americans and only one Frenchwoman (Emanuelle
Béart).

I'm sorry, there were not two, but three other Americans in the jury. As
Michael Moore said: "When you hear the wackos on Fox News and elsewhere
refer to this prize as coming from `the French,' please know that of the
nine members of the Festival jury, only ONE was French. Nearly half the

jury
(four) were Americans and the President of the jury was an American

(Quentin
Tarantino). But this fact won't stop the O'Reillys or the Lenos or the
Limbaughs from attacking the French and me because, well, that's how their
simple minds function."

Benjo Maso

Who are you kidding Benjo? The national French media (TV, radio, press)
have embraced Moore like he was another of Mitterand's love children. The
composition of the Canne jury is insignificant. What's true is that the
French elite's (etatisme at it's best) and their in-bred cronies in the
media have wasted no opportunity to present Moore as the truth about
America. And it didn't just start with this film. Bowling for Columbine
was a huge success in France. I can't count the number of times I saw on
French TV the celebrated scene of Moore in the bank with the rifle (later
documented, as with most of his film scenes, to be scripted to fit his
suppositions).

Even more telling is the lack of critical analysis of Moore's message in the
French press. There doesn't seem to be much of a rush to explore the
verisimilitude of Moore's films other than as the welcome reality of an
America many "simple-minded" Frenchmen love to hate.

I am I correct in concluding that you haven't seen F. 9/11?

Well I can plainly see you're highly biased and this is going to go
nowhere near Evans or T-Mobile and I'm not really interested any further
in paticipating in political discourse in a cycling forum.

Wimp........

I like the movie and I'm certainly intelligent enough to draw my own
conclusions (otherwise I'd be out buying everything on infomercials.)
I'll go on being depressed over the state of things and how we've got
there and what it's going to take to get out of this morass.

You are just another Liberal University trained dittohead

Worst all, all this rotten economy and fascination with amassing vast
personal wealth doesn't seem to be doing much to help the sport I enjoy
the most. For those sponsors who can pull it together and put up a team
I thank them.

I have my own issues with my health and the effect of the economy on my
business status..
I sure DO NOT go whine and blame the Administration for my own work

issues?
It is MY responsibility to get ahead in this country I was lucky enough to
be born into.. NOT the damn government 2000 miles away.

I would blame the constant influx AND acceptance of illegal immigrants
draining our state economy (CA) for issues that could be affected by
government. It is my responsibility what I do with my work life.

You might as well quit...... Because I will not.

For Cadel Evans, I suggest he take a page from Julich's book and leave
T-Mobile and go enjoy racing at a team that values him. Why he's even
left off the team in the aftermath of Vino's crash is perplexing to say
the least.

Moore doesn't start out by insulting people. He presents things in his
own way and lets you draw your own conclusion.

With the possible exception of the first sentence, isn't that exactly what
David Walsh is saying about his new book on LANCE?
