Photo Essay by Andre Jute: Coca-Cola Zero Bikes share scheme in Cork,Galway and Limerick
The "Photo Essay by Andre Jute: Coca-Cola Zero Bikes share scheme in Cork, Galway and Limerick" at http://coolmainpress.com/ajwriting/archives/4931 describes the technical interest of these really very well thought out bikes, with Nuvinci CVT gears, hub dynamos, roller brakes, automatic lighting, baskets, comprehensible instructions in the bottom of the basket, even coat and trousers guards to keep your clothes clean.
The availability of these agreeable bikes makes it worth taking a cheap flight to Cork, Galway and Limerick (very windy, I'd prefer the other two, unless you come for some specific event in Limerick) for a day or two just to sniff around, without the bother of packing up your bike and fighting the airline about carrying it. Photo Essay by Andre Jute: Coca-Cola Zero Bikes share scheme inCork, Galway and Limerick
In four days, on a technical cycling conference, no one has thought it worth saying a single word about bicycles of high technical interest cheaply available for rent (without any hemet requirement). But there are pages and pages and pages of repetitive verbiage about helmet requirements every time bike share schemes that require helmets are mentioned.
Makes me wonder whether cyclists are more articulate about their hatreds than their passions. If so, cycling must be a dulled passion.
