These days "odd" and "British" are just repetitive terms. Eventually
they'll get it sorted. And frankly the US doesn't have much basis from
which to criticize anyone else, lately.

We once would have said "Florida" and all nodded knowingly.
Now, there's hardly any difference from one place to
another. The overnight police reports read like TV series
script pitches.
