Default Nice saturday afternoon

After a hard training yesterday I did a recovery ride today, because it was such nice weather. Since I plan to make some video of our pace line riding tomorrow (we really suck at it) I mounted my camera and tested its position. I flipped it on from time to time when I was passing other cyclists from the opposite direction. It was a 37 km ride and the clips were taken almost from door to door. If you are interested you can download the clip from:
http://we.tl/V7eT6FX8WN
It is a 267 MB file and it is hosted there for a week. Watch how 'Amsterdam' looks like on a nice saturday afternoon; other cyclists, roads, traffic and all the climbs ;-)

The hurdles all look fine to me (and I'm a computer security
professional); but if you need me to (and if it's okay with
Lou), I can host it on straight up http or ftp.

.... ah - there is is download finished...

Dan, did you host it somewhere? It's not downloading for me. I want to see what Lou's part of the world looks like on a nice Saturday.

It loaded. Very pretty. Are the roads with no cars just for bikes, or just narrow roads with no cars on them at the time the video was shot? It kind of looks like (near) Dan's part of the world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fq-KNXPxtNM Note the clear superiority of riding with cars. America rules! Note faux European theme in Mt. Angel. We really do want to be the Netherlands -- or Germany, or somewhere European. I placed in the Mt. Angel Octoberfest criterium a few times -- and then wen to the bierstube. Now that's a perfect Saturday!

IIRC I only used one bikepath. The others are just narrow country roads with most of the time little traffic.

Thanks Lou. I think if you came to Quebec you would not feel out of
place. Much of the ride looks like our rural farmland - complete with
animals along the road. And the town looks like some that you'd find
around here. Only major differences are that your roads seem much
smoother and flatter.
