Okay...

In May is Nathan's school prom. So, thinking of *possibilities* of transport to
& from said prom... anyone know of anyone/organisation that does rickshaw hire
that would either come out to deepest rural Norfolk, or where I could hire a
rickshaw for the duration so I, errr, Vernon, can be rickshaw slave for an
evening???

Just ideas at this stage.

Cheers, helen s

That sounds ike fun.
You could contact Cycles Maximus who have supplied many users - they may
give you a lead.

http://www.cyclesmaximus.com/

Alternatively, as the easten regions are well known for their barrows,
how about joining two together, take the front wheel out of the rear
one and attach to the rear axle of the front machine for a five wheeled 'trike'.
I did that with a friend once and we clocked a 28 minute 10 mile TT.

A quick Google indicated that a company called Fantoosh had a brace of
rickshaws in Dereham, their web site is down - does the company still exist?

Helen,

There was a Ricshaw taxi service in Gt Yarmouth a few years ago,
thoughthe owner packed up and moved to Canada. I don't know what
happened to the machine, it may still be around the Yarmouth area. Try
speaking to some of the Gt Yarmouth CC people, they may know something,
otherwise I could lone you a tandem.

if they've any rickshaws, they haven't had them out and about in Dereham. I
shall invstigate during the week.

*Thanks*

Why not a horse and carriage?

First possibility is a rickshaw due to cycling interest.

Thanks Pete. Will keep that in mind. Not sure if he'd like the tandem though -
but it's a very kind offer all the same. The idea of the rickshaw is that it's
suitably whacky :-)
