Oh dearie me.

It seems the poor thing was unaware of the dangers of cycling.

I hope Mr. Roe is not too traumatised.

The danger is poor road positioning. If she had been well out from the
kerb the driver would have seen her.

Ride in the gutter - die in the gutter. Don't be duped into thinking
that riding well over to the left or using cycle lanes is safer - it ain't.

Yes, she should have stayed behind the HGV instead of trying to undertake
it.
