PER: road near Convention Centre

Has anyone else nearly come to grief in Mounts Bay Road near the Great Barn
aka Convention Centre? There have been roadworks recently, and the
'repaired' road surface has just the kind of longitudinal grooves that are
designed to trap unwary tyres and send bike and rider tumbling. I've emailed
City Council; I wonder if anything will happen.

Used it twice, City of Perth and Town of Vincent, got a response and a
repair (!) within 24 hours.
