And what "level" is that? Horner's constant presence on the cyclocross
scene is queer. He's becoming anonymous in both road racing and cross.

Top road racers don't do stunts like this because they use the
off-season to sue people, establish relationships with their au pair, or
film commercials.

You never saw Hinault, LeMond or Armstrong doing nonsense like this.

Maybe the guy just likes to ride? What do you have against him, did he
knock you off the podium or something? You sound like an unhappy person!

And this is the last I reply to your trolls.

Nicely framed shot with the swing set providing movement. Too bad that
kid on the bike ruined the photo.

Hinault hated to train. Horner is just riding aimlessly in parks. When
you ride all the time, your effort in any one given race is less than
what it would be had you trained only for one or two specific events.

It's why you never see top road riders racing a full road season, let
alone a cross season - it saps incentive for the following road season
and leads to apathy and burnout.

I'm surprised Horner doesn't know that. He'll find out once again when
he finishes 2 hours down in next year's Tour de France (for the third
year in a row).

Hinault's very last race was a cyclo cross. Also, as late as 1984 he
chose to ride in the French national championship (finished 5th).

Like about 20 other guys in the TdF, Horner is fighting for one of 6-9
sprint arrivals. Petacchi and Boonen take 2/3 of that, so the other 18
guys are just there for 1-3 stages. Horner just hasn't won his. His
position in the GC is no what he was hired for.

jyh.
