stunning Denver weather - 72 degrees and heaven

Liberace's full of, well something (ewww!), but it is surprising to hear that New Hampshire is in the 70s in mid March. Is that common there? For Colorado's Front Range it's above average, but well within what we can expect. Shawn On the first half, I'm aware and just having fun. For the second, no, it's not normal. We're actually in the high fifties today, and nearing 70 tomorrow. Averages for March are more mid 40's, with record highs around 90. |

Smeared cloud streaks but not enough to show up in a picture, the sky is beautiful, and it's almost hot. I'm too hot in long pants, and most people are wearing shorts here in Golden. I already saw two vehicles with MTBs all clean and shiney out from the winter hibernation, on the way to the mountains. I also saw a vehicle with two kayaks on top, on the way to river somewhere. So everyone plays hooky when the first glimpse of summer arrives? I also this morning on the way to breakfast saw a girl driving her SUV with her snowboard mounted on top. So on the same day, in Colorado, you can MTB, Kayak, ski and snowboard. What other state offers these treasures? Uh, none. Well, we're really close in Idaho. 70 down here, 35 up at the ski hill. some folks will mtnbike during the day, grab dinner, then go night skiing. You gotta love it. CDB |
