What makes you suppose that the people he refers to and his fans are the
same people? And what about the third category?

(You can try using intelligence and/or telepathy to work out the third
category.)

Or using a mobile phone whilst driving. Or running a red light. Or
surfing on your phone whilst driving. Or taking a selfie whilst driving.
Or driving whilst drunk or on drugs. Or tailgating. Or playing with the
'satnav' whilst driving. Or driving for longer than the statutory maximum
time (for commercial drivers). Or driving without insurance. Or driving
without a licence.

Oops ....

I can remember a time when certain posters here could not sing BW's
praises highly enough. They certainly are not going to like his drawing
attention to the sheer lawlessness and unalloyed chavvery of London
cyclists (and by extension, cylists elsewhere).

That is the very obvious import of what I was talking about (and you
knew it).

But what are *you* talking about?

Nobody normal has a problem with much of that (NB: there is no law
against adjusting a satnav).

Especially not the bit about qualified cyclists not attempting to
pretend to be a driver. We speak here of people who haven't got a
driving licence or insurance and have absolutely no road sense or
consideration for others and are thus qualified only to ride a bike, of
course.

It's really funny that you include "running a red light" - as though the
average cyclist even knew what a red light means.
