Wide rims built by siamese mounting skinny rims

If I were to hazard a guess I'd say that merely a weird cross-lace wouldn't be enough to lock the rims together by itself. I thought I'd be able to suggest a better option by 'this link, ' (http://www.icebike.org/Equipment/rims.htm) but then I discovered the sad disclaimer saying "no longer in production." There is more to it than simply laced and strapped together. There are nine braze-ons of approximately 1 inch arcuate about the rim pairs. -- meb |
