Wow! Somebody did some serious research.
EVERYTHING you always wanted to know about saddles but were afraid to
ask!
Beats the heck out of "this saddle worked for me."
And reinforces the universal truth, "It depends."

For me bicycling is not just a means of transporting myself to a place
or out and about in the world. It's *primarily* me and the bike
experiencing *riding*. So i'm attuned to the integration and
interface, and don't just pedal and pedal indefinitely unaware of the
effect of my weight on the saddle. I mix it up distributing weight
between saddle, pedals and handlebars - not just for the sake of
weight distribution but for the dynamics of riding - Ride Bike! - not
"cycling".

.... Oh, and BTW - WRT to the concern in that article - no apparent
functional issues even riding ~4 hours a day, and in fact the
resultant fitness and conditioning offers phenomenal stamina ;-)

Wow.
I saw that bike, just built with fresh paint, hanging at
Condor in June 1973. Beautiful; always wondered if he rode
it. Glad it worked out well.

the turbo saddle is the only one that really hurt me, way too narrow,
suitable only for frogs.
