It's getting very hard to buy a non-racing bicycle without suspension
these days. It's disappointing to see how things are bundled. If you
want the better components, it's like you have to take the suspension.

It has very long telescoping seat post and stem.

Suspension cures addiction to lousy TV shows, removes the crabgrass from
your lawn and prevents snotty in-laws. The ownership of said bicycles is
a perfectly cromulent activity which embiggens the positive aura of
one's proclivity. And George Bush Jr. says that if you don't buy a bike
with suspension, the terrorists have already won.

Suspension is a wonderful thing, for any bike that gets used in actual
roads or trails. Also we note: there were probably people who argued
against suspensions on /cars/, way back when.

Typically the roads I'm on in the suburbs are well enough paved for
suspension to not even cross my mind. But today I went through Saint
Paul proper and man, the patched up roads there had me bouncing around
worse than a dirt road.
