Default Replacing FD on my Yukon

Hi,
My Giant Yukon has Acera FD e-type (BB mounting) This FD totally doesn't go
with the rest of the bike.
I'm going to replace it with bottom pull Deore LX.
Should I remove Acera bracket which is between BB tube and crank or can I
just leave it there?
Does would make it any difference?
thanks
