Brevet de randonneur des Alpes (7/19) info?

I'll be spending 10 days in France with my son during the TdF, and
noticed this event going on-

Looks interesting, since it would including Alpe d'Huez, something my
son would like to ride (not a part of the TdF this year). Does anyone
know much about this event? Not much info in English. I can sorta read
French and translate what I can't figure out through Google, but the
info is still pretty sparse.
