The whole thing cost about $350 but because also I am not technically proficient I had to pay for someone to take the bike apart and then put it back together. That plus new tires and a couple of other accoutrements cost me over $700. I am not sure it was worth it but it looks gorgeous, and I plan to use it as my winter bike. I guess with Velocolor, the basic paint price applies and then the decal prices add. My total cost included the decals --all Lemond classics. Jen |

Thanks for having a look at the site. I am a one man operation and have been running Velocolour for a year now. All of the sanding, filling, brazing etc. is done by me. Other than the current special I am offering my prices start at $325 (Canadian). This is what I feel I need to charge in order to make sure that each machine is flawless when it leaves my shop. It is a very labour intensive way to make a living and I don't acutually understand how painters can charge much less and offer the same quality. I have seen paintjobs that cost 2/3 of what mine do, they are not bad but I don't want to produce that kind of work.
The current $200 special doesn't include extra filling, extra primer if needed or a second clear coat. It is just a new colour, durable but not perfect. As for decals, my suppliers are mostly in the States which of course means extra shipping, easily done but it may cost a bit more. These are the same supplier as many of the top notch painters, Joe Bell, Kieth Anderson and many others. Thanks again looking, noah www.velocolour.com Very nice work.
