Water bottle parts carrier?
I've seen a water bottle that is made for carrying small parts. I would
rather use that for a tube, irons and a patch kit instead of a bag under the saddle. I think it had a large opening, as opposed to standard water bottle, so it could hold larger things. I can't seem to locate it now and thought maybe someone could enlighten me. A source, online or otherwise, would be good or just a name to goggle with would be appreciated. Thanks, John |

Maybe send them an e-mail if you're interested. http://tinyurl.com/4a833 -- My bike blog: http://diabloscott.blogspot.com/ |

think it had a large opening, as opposed to standard water bottle, so it could hold larger things. I can't seem to locate it now and thou I gave up and use an under-the-saddle bag by Cannondale that's long and about the same diameter as a water bottle. Fits in the water bottle carrier nicely, has a couple of velcro tabs at the bottom. I use an old leather toe clip strap to secure it up around the middle. IMHO it works better than a wide-mouth bottle would because it has a couple of zipper pouches on the outside for commonly-accessed items, like a 5 mm allen key - yet has enough volume inside for a tube or two, a pump, and patching kit. -- PeteCresswell |

Looks about the right diameter for the bottle holder, and a good price to boot. Mmmm. Food.... -- B.B. --I am not a goat! thegoat4 at airmail.net |

Thanks, John Dear John, Around the middle of this page is something like what you're after: http://vandesselsports.com/scicon.shtml It's a zipper-top bag shaped like a water bottle. Carl Fogel |
