Default OT - but a most important matter!

Nobody's asked, but in this bike rider/Packer fan's humble opinion, if
he wants to play, Brett Favre should report to camp and compete with
Rodgers for the starting job. What do I think about while bike
riding? Well, there's one topic.

In Chicago, one sports wag got a column out of suggesting the Bears
hire Favre

1. It would just irritate the heck out of the Packers.
2. He's very likely to be better than whoever else they'd get.
3. See #1.

Well, the topic does relieve boredom:

That's the last battle. Favre clearly won the war.

http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2008...favre_cal.html

"The Bears are 6-2 vs. the Packers since Smith took over as head
coach in 2004, including a sweep over the NFC North champion Packers
this past season. [sure, but it was the Packers who went to the NFC
Championship game]

"But Favre has dominated the Bears in his career with a record of
22-10 against them.

"Favre had a remarkable run against the Bears. In 1994, Green bay
began a 10-game winning streak over the Bears and it was also the
beginning of a stretch where the Packers won 18 of 20 in the
series."

In North Carolina last week, the sports pages were full of "he wants to play
for the Panthers" and a lot of going back and forth whether he should or
they should give him a try, etc.

Could be, he wants to play closer to home.
