No, but you seem to strongly object to any mention of other vehicles.
Cyclists share most roads with all sorts of vehicles.
The majority of my posts are cycling related, but I occasionally
introduce cars etc. Likewise in the car NGs cyclists are sometimes
included in the posts.

Your eyes see movement in the periphery. You don't need to scan pavements for pedestrians. But a sign (hidden among billions of others) doesn't stand out, so you have to look at it instead of what you're about to run into. And then there's looking down at your speedometer.

When this subject came up many years ago someone said that it has to be designated a dual carriageway by the council or HA and have the appropriate signage.
