This is massive. I hope the B sample comes back negative...cycling
doesn't need this right now.

Yeah, it was obvious all along. I mean, c'mon, look at his hair.
Plus that position. And he won the Tour of Spain three times for
three different teams -- everyone knows what that means. And some
years he won stages and other years he didn't. That's an obvious
sign.

Yeah, I knew it all along.

Looks like Jeff's headline that day on CyclingNews was portentous,
"Remarkable time trial by Heras to clinch Vuelta"

hardly matters if they've got it wrong or not. He'll be skewered in
the court of public (aka RBR) opinion regardless. No need to wait for
the B sample results.

I was just kidding when I suggested Brian was calling for an
investigation of Heras since he had won three Vueltas. Gosh!

Looks like Menchov may have won his first Grand Tour, if he doesn't have a
positive lurking around somewhere.

And once again it became public through leaks before the B sample had
been tested. Once again we've got s preliminary result, a trial in the
court of public opinion, and a damaged reputation and earning capacity.
Not even going into the questions about the test itself, once again we
have a confidentiality problem.
Do I think they'll identify who leaked the info, not bloody likely.
Does the athlete have any recourse, seems not, even if the B comes up
clean there's significant damage caused by these leaks that NOONE seems
to give a **** about, least of all Wada. Now we don't even know what
organization the leak came from, but something needs to be done to
protect the athlete's rights.
The athlete's need to be allowed sue both the organization that
employs the person who leaked the info, and the individual for damages
due to these leaks.
