Default Car deliberately used as a weapon on pavement.

This is obviously some concern for cyclists who ride on pavements,
particularly young children.

"Man appears on Dumfries car attack charge

A man has appeared in court accused of driving his car at a couple in
Dumfries and making them take evasive action in order to avoid being
hit.

Paul Minaudo, 36, of the town's Millburn Avenue, appeared in private
at Dumfries Sheriff Court.

He was on a petition alleging he assaulted a man and a woman on the
town's Cresswell Avenue by driving a car at them and mounting the
pavement.

No plea or declaration was made and the case was continued."

OT, just adding the word cyclist to the text does not make this post
on topic.

Not OT for this group, which is often concerned with motorists
discussing vehicles riding on pavements.

Complaining about OT is OT itself.

There are two reasons why motoring is relevant to this newsgroup.
First, it is mainly populated by motorists and second, motorists kill
cyclists.

Obviously anything which remotely threatens cyclists is of serious
concern on this NG. So instead of you motorists trying to censor this
cyclist, stop whinging and learn to live with it. Better still, f-off
back to where you belong, on a motoring NG where you can moan about
cyclists with each other till the cows come home.
