Mountain Biking in Northern Thailand

oi! i am planning on a mountain biking trip north of thailand - just
short day trips. id be really glad if you can offer suggestions?

i currently live in bangkok and would like to go on weekend trips to
the north - pack my bicycle in a pickup, drive up north, ride for a
day, stay overnight in a decent resort and then drive back to bangkok.
or if you have had a great ride somewhere in thailand, please let me
know.

i have a personal project to visit as many bike trails as i can ...

made some trips within the Pattaya - Chonburi area, a region 120km
southeast of Bangkok. I got some pretty nice rides there.

Havent had the chance to go to the north of Thailand.
