This is beautiful:

"Saiz also told El Diario Montanes that he hopes that his role in any
new team will involve “the preparation of riders” and he claimed that
no team has since surpassed the level of preparation and organisation
that was the feature of his ONCE set-up."

I'm assuming he's referring to the $60k in the briefcase he was
handing over to Fuentes...

"It just ain't a Tour without Manolo"

Davey forgets who said that now, but it's sure the truth in his books

Nobody gives Two Hoots what the Irishman thinks, supposing he stops to
think at all.

Besides which, one has to wonder how an individual who measures more
around the middle than he does from head to toe and who has been
banned for life from the IOC gets to be elected to the presidency of the
UCI when there were two better qualified candidates.

Davey also wonders if Hein Verbruggen isn't still, de facto, the UCI Capo.

All Paddy has really achieved so far is to entrench the ridiculous Pro
Tour in the UCI Calendar and accept the Deep-Six of the Kilo and Womens
500 meters at the Olympic Follies

British people are to blame for mass immigration because
they are too lazy to work, Conservative Party immigration
minister Damian Green has said.
