Any "insulated" bottles that actually work?

I frankly see little difference between the Polar insulated bottles and a standard one (putting both to the test yet again on today's 95 degree ride, and still finding the so-called "insulated" bottle to be of little benefit). When it's that brutal around here, with humidity of course, no bottle can stand the solar radiation that I'm aware of. Best option is a lightweight hydration pack with perhaps 30% ice. The fact that the bladder isn't directly exposed to the sun helps tons--and it's great for keeping the rays off your back as well. |
