Tom Kunich: How is it that whenever you are active on this board, Tom Sherman is not, and whenever he is, you are not.
You are both in your 60's, both from Oakland CA, and have similar signal-to-noise ratios. What gives? |

Nice spelling. |

Yes, often when the aluminum bearing seat is slightly askew while being pressed on. Yes, especially when the aluminum bearing seat is slightly askew while being pressed on. I'm on the telephone all day. I hear that pronunciation from the middle south and southeast. -- Andrew Muzi www.yellowjersey.org/ Open every day since 1 April, 1971 |

Saving a couple of grams in weight and increasing the chances of it breaking is pretty silly. |

Saving a couple of grams in weight and increasing the chances of it breaking is pretty silly. You can end with "well its FSA" -- which stands for Failure Soon Ahead. A lot of manufacturers skip the crown race (bearing seat) and just mold it into the fork. https://tinyurl.com/y3ya9cj3 -- Jay Beattie. |
