Well, I tell you, if Lance wins a comeback tour, that's going to be the
biggest story since sliced bread! That's going inject rocket fuel into
cycling! That's going to go a long ways as far as putting life back into the
sport, after the drug scandals nearly killed it! That will bring the media
back, the sponsors back, everything back to a healthy level where it was
before Lance left, and all the fallout. A comeback win is priceless, and the
market value of that in terms of press for cycling is astonomical! There's
no telling just how much of a jolt that will give cycling, but I think its
going to be huge! The good news is, the women will get a boost too, as
little as that might be, they will get the crumbs from the table, but that's
a big table!

Umm - Bart, maybe you haven't noticed but the majority of people who post
here would be very happy if bicycle racing died.

Yeah, but there is always hope. Lance winning a comeback tour will capture
the hearts of even the most jaded fans!

That's a nice thought. But what are the chances that the freaks will
discontinue posting here and let us return to a cycling group?

Well, war of attrition. If enough newbies come onboard, their numbers will
out number the oppressors.
