Positively gorgeous considering the ones I hacked together on the weekend.
I must get around to some photos.

The amusing part is that I found the key component outside a building site
on the way to Jaycar to pick up some bits and pieces!

Looking at your beamshot, I'd be inclined to turn it upside down so the
hotspot is up top, theoretically giving a longer reach....

All of those are old, and really need replacing (though that's a bit
tricky since some of the test lights no longer exists). The new light is
considerably brighter than any of the LED ones there.

I even realised my DV camera will do manual shutter speed and aperture, so
I can be really consistent. Those shots were done with a point and shoot
locked to the same lighting, but there will be a bit of variation.
