Reverse Threads ?
Hello,
On a Kid's bike that I am trying to fix up, I know the left pedal has a "reverse" thread where it attaches to the crank. Are there any on the front or rear threads that hold the wheels to the fork also, or are these the normal directional screw-threads ? Thanks, Bob |

Unless someone has been doing some odd engineering when I wasn't looking, no, only left pedals loosen clockwise (and may have cones that adjust in reverse, too), everything else adjusts in the classic "righty-tighty, lefty- loosey" fashion. -- Andrew Chaplin SIT MIHI GLADIUS SICUT SANCTO MARTINO (If you're going to e-mail me, you'll have to get "yourfinger." out.) |
