Default Some Touring Tips - Amsterdam - Paris

Pay the money - get all quick dry clothing you can wash and have dry by
checkout.

The LF routes out of the Netherlands - Not all the signs were in place,
got tired of backtracking and simply rode by compass and map along
secondary roads.

Research *all* possible stopping points for hotels before leaving.
Hotel prices became unimportant when dog tired after having slogged
45KM in a headwind.

Think strongly about bringing a GPS unit, it will save a lot of time
and backtracking.

Be prepared to grin and bear it for erroneous weather reports. I'm
currently in Brussels for the second day because it was forecast to
rain all today. Not a drop. You can rig for wet weather riding, but it
is not conducive to reading map and compass - or very enjoyable.
