35 George Hincapie 1.08.15
.....
37 Jens Voigt 1.11.55

Surprise results for the year:

1) Bernhard Kohl who demonstrated that he can win the yellow on a good
climbing year.
2) Christian Vande Velde demonstrated that he probably has two more good
years and possibly a tour win - remember that this was the first real time
he served as a team leader.
3) George Hincapie is converting into a Jens Voigt-like rider. Will this
effect his spring classics?
4) Sammy Sanchez ain't going to get any better.
5) We've seen the best from the Schlecks - from here on out they're going to
be the same.
6) Valverde is a spectacularly good rider when he's on the boil. But I don't
think that he can go three weeks on the boil.
7) Kim Kirchen is also a rider to watch. He can improve and he doesn't need
much improvement to ride on the front.

Of course there is a small problem with all this - if Contador was here
these guys would all be also-rans. This was an asterisk Tour.

Just wanted to say thanks for providing this service again. One of the most

Your program is interesting, but it has a few glaring shortcomings.
Like the "Hincapie as a favorite" feature.

Typically riders who are 68 minutes behind the yellow are not
considered favorites. Unless you've got a program that has a retarded
feature or two.

thanks,

K. Gringioni.

8) Cadel Evans probably won't ever win the Tour de France. (If not
this year, then when?)

Bob has probably addressed the favorites issue ten or twenty times,
which, coincidentally enough, is the number of times you've been a
dumbass for not paying attention.

Jorge Jincapie is one of my favorite riders, regardless. He's a class
act.
