I have, occasionally, in both France and Germany. Conclusion - louts
exist everywhere, and no one country has the monopoly on bad

I've never been shouted at, but I have been on the receiving end of
hysterical horn blowing and gesticulating. In Germany, this happened
to me from time to time on a road which had a parallel footpath on
which cycling was tolerated (as distinct from a dedicated cycle path).

The aggressors probably assumed, in their ignorance, that the footpath
was in fact a cycle path (under German regulations, using the road is
not permitted if a dedicated cycle path is available).

After going cross country on bicycles we were met with flying beer cans
going down to St. John's NFLD. Cannot remember a bad motorist on the whole
trip till we got there.

Does not mean it would happen to anyone else.
Just the truth plain and simple like my ice cube trays which I got
slaughtered for so... Take a break from the abuse please. It is so
uncalled for.

NFLD is a nice place BTW I love the Maritimes.
