Nick Nick, the market place in which the Nat West features is actually the "Ancient Market" which is partly pedestrianised and partly open to traffic. The "Apple Market" is just a hundred yards or so further down the road and is no longer a market as such. It is now a small triangular shaped fully pedestrianised area full of cafes. You wouldn't be allowed to take a bike in there. So I think your meeting place is more than likely the Ancient Market, the entrance to which is just across the road from the old bow-fronted Guildhall. One assumes you'll all be wearing red carnations in your button holes, or is the grease-stained jacket and black finger nails sufficient identification ;o) -- Dave (Sgt. Anyone planning on going? It seems that my two mates have dropped out "Oohh, it's two wet out there". So I don't want to be hanging about if no-one is going. (Could just go to the pub instead). |
