GT Ricochet Bottom Bracket
I am putting a GT Ricochet together for my wife and the bottom bracket
I bought was a 73x118. I am putting on an older set of Race Face cranks, and I can't get the front derailer to shift into the small ring (the derailer hits the frame) The chainline looks kind of off also. The small ring clears the chainstay by about 1/8 of an inch. Do I need to put a 73x123 bottom bracket in this? This seems awful wide, never heard of a mountain bike with that wide bottom bracket. Thanks in advance, Jeff |

GT Ricochet Bottom Bracket
I just put a 68 x 123 or 124 (can't remember) bottom bracket on my '93 GT

Problem I'm having is finding a crankset to work with such a long bottom bracket and that does not rub the front deraileur. "Jeff Lee" wrote in message m...
