No need for such circumspection in this case. Being involved in a race on the
highway on a bicycle is (however regrettably) not illegal, even if the name
of the activity has to be changed to protect the event's insurance company.

Straight Mile Road, eh?

Used to know it well - part of the Rugby to Princethorpe road and a useful
bypass route from M1 (southbound) to Leamington, prticularly (one imagines)
for vehicles whose speed is restricted.

Yet another motorist dies.He won't do it again: obviously driving too
fast for the conditions.

Now that was a Judith-like approach. Cheap, vulgar, callous, ill-
founded, flawed and non-sensical. It is difficult to lower oneself to
this, but possible.

yet this is a cyclist group, why do you try to deflect away from a relevant
