Ridgeback Flight T1 2008 owners

Hi,
After months of umming and arring I have purchased a Ridgeback Flight
T1 2008. If there are any fellow owners out there, which mudguards did you
buy? Secondly, I also bought an Abus Granit X Plus lock. The fixing to the
frame seems a little awkward so I'm wondering if there is any fixing to
allow it to be attached to the bottle carrier mountings instead?
