Default serious lighting

This site has an 1886 Facile safety highwheeler with two carbide lamps
mounted on the front pivots of the treadle drive, forward and below
the coasting pegs:

(Red side jewels were common. Alas, what looks like an aero-bar
extension is just a front basket.)

Full front view: http://i27.tinypic.com/24x2d86.jpg

Slightly cross-eyed front view: http://i25.tinypic.com/9ppb2p.jpg

(The otherwise invisible mounting peg can be seen to the right.)

Cheers,

Carl Fogel
