No wonder some drivers can't see cyclists
....and obviously why they they can't see their lights either.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4x...it?usp=sharing The barrier shows the level - follow his eye line over the steering wheel. He's even having to lift his head. Another clue is that his hands are at shoulder level. It's possible to try that in a chair and imagine that half the steering wheel is still above that. Not an isolated view; there were several other similar shots in that car as well as shots in other cars in other programs. Also not unique to him; I have noticed that my sister sets things in her Discovery such that she can't see out properly.Amazing. |

The motorists on here certainly don't. |

Perhaps you should do the "cyclist thing" next time you see her driving.... kick her car, verbally abuse and threaten her, spit through her window and punch her in the face before furiously pedalling away. Make sure it's her though, not a fella who might get out & slap you back... Then grass her up to the Old Bill and put half of the video on YouTube. |

Discoverys are of a class of vehicle that deserve to be kicked merely for existing. Or better still, to be under a large block of concrete dropped from height. |

What a shame you are so poor/strange you can't afford one. -- Dave - Cyclists VOR. "Many people barely recognise the bicycle as a legitimate mode of transport; it is either a toy for children or a vehicle fit only for the poor and/or strange," Dave Horton, of Lancaster University, wrote in an interim assessment of the Understanding Walking and Cycling study. "For them, cycling is a bit embarrassing, they fail to see its purpose, and have no interest in integrating it into their lives, certainly on a regular basis." |
