Mason to expand bike paths, parks
Mason to expand bike paths, parks THE ENQUIRER MASON - The city of Mason is buying up property to expand its bike paths and parks. The city recently spent about $872,000 to buy three homes totaling 11.5 acres and a church's right of way easement. Some of the properties are near Muddy Creek and will likely be used to build a bike path there. Another backs up against a city park and could be used for park expansion. Some of the residents will continue to live there for months after the closing. The city may eventually rent out the houses, or sell them, keeping the green space. http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.d...382/1056/COL02 |
